The Bizanti complex was situated on an elevated position above the sea in a place now called Župa. The complex, which was owned by the noble family Bizanti from Kotor, consisted of a summer residence built in the Renaissance style, a tower, a residential building and a family chapel.
We have an idea of the original appearance of the residential buildings and the tower from a photograph taken before they were reconstructed and turned into Austro-Hungarian headquarters.
The remains of the original tower of the Bizanti complex are visible within the existing tower.
The Bizanti complex, with its isolated position, the preserved layout of footpaths and trails, typical vegetation and authentic atmosphere of a quay with a small building and a pier, even though it has lost its original architectural appearance, reflects the way of life as it might have been in the time of the Bizanti family.
