Lombardić Palace
Lombardić Palace is situated in the northern part of the urban core of Kotor. The palace consists of a block of buildings, which face St. Luke’s Square on the north, and a small square with a water-pump “Karampana” on the south. The palace consists of three units which have separate entrances on the north, west and east sides. The main façade faces St. Luke’s Square.

Lombardić Palace was built in the mid-18th century as a typical Baroque palace. The palace has nicely carved Baroque elements: a portal rendered in the “bugnato” technique, profiled window frames and balustraded balconies on the north and south façades. A small belvedere above the main facade has characteristic Baroque volutes.

From 1804 to 1806 Lombardic Palace housed the Russian Consulate.

Frequent guests in the palace were Petar I and Petar II Petrović Njegoš, visiting their friends, the priest Ilija Lombardić and Captain Tomo Lipovac, who was the mayor of Kotor for many years.
